During the winter of 2005 Buzzards Bay Yacht Services, Inc. replaced the deck on "Heron" a Alden Malabar Senior. The job entailed removing all deck hardware, old deck covering, toe rails and taff rail. Several areas of deck needed complete replacement, in particular the stern deck. After the rotten deck areas were repaired the entire deck was sheaved in 1/4" mahogany plywood, fiberglassed, dyneled and finally awlgripped. New mahogany toe rails and taff rail were also installed by Buzzards Bay Yacht Services, Inc..
